Now this is something that never even occurred to me and I’m fairly suspicious of any way Peds can get to our kids. I feel sorry for the parents out there that are so far behind the times even this little bit of warning won’t get thru. Better check what guilds your kids join in the World of Warcraft. Abhorrent Taboo on the Ravenholdt server observes in the behavior of ERP (Erotic Role Play) and screen shots how admittance of the leader about he feels about minors. So far, no Blizzard Employee has made any comment about it. Do you feel safe having your child playing in this guild?

We have uncovered an issue in the current beta version that we are unable to resolve at this time. This issue will be fixed in the next client patch.

Players who have logged out using /quit may have difficulty moving upon re-entering the game. We have methods by which players can work around this issue:

• When logging out with /quit, letting the exit timer run out completely will prevent the issue.
• Relogging and letting the timer run out will also correct the matter.

Latest update from Blizzard - re: database maintenance work…

In our continued plans to upgrade hardware for all of our realms for the upcoming expansion, we are conducting another phase of database maintenance. We will be migrating data onto a new database storage solution which will comprise the majority of this extended maintenance. Please check the general forums for the list of realms which will be affected. Thanks for your patience as we work to improve the service and stability of the game.

For those of us looking forward to playing WoW today, the maintenance has been extended for ALL servers until 3:30 pm PST. Wonder what they are up to now….

Just so you know and you were wondering why NA realms are not going back online at their usual times, there is extended maintenance today on these realms to allow ISP maintenance and also retrofittng.

Blizzard is handing out a bit of compensation for those realms that had some downtime recently.

To compensate players for any inconvenience caused by the downtime experienced during this week’s retrofitting hardware maintenance, we will be issuing a 24-hour time extension to all players with an active account and characters on the affected realms (listed below).

Good news for you Firefox users a new extension has been released for Firefox that lets users check the status of realms in World of Warcraft within the browser.

The extension is accessible through the Firefox Tools menu and lets you view current information about all realms on WoW, like which ones are up or not, the type of realm (RP,PVP,Normal), and their population size.

It can also be set up to track an individual realm and alert you if the status changes.

However the extension is still in Beta but it can be download here
