A leaked video hits FileNuts featuring character screenshots for the two new races – Blood Elves and Draenei – in the Burning Crusade xpansion. It’s the first time that I’ve seen it, be sure to check the movie out for yourself!

Well its been a few months of work, but ImageGrotto beta is finally live. If you need your images hosted, ImageGrotto is the place to go. You can upload many different image formats, including TGA which is WoW’s native hard-to-read format. The site will automatically convert them to JPGs for you so they show properly in browsers.

A unique feature of ImageGrotto is the ability to upload a zip of images. Just zip em up and upload the zip, and it will figure out what to do with the pictures and convert them on the fly.

Next on the plate is themes, from Warcraft to simple photography themes, we’d like to let you choose quickly and easily.

In the near future after that is an AJAX method of adding comments to your uploaded collections.

Blizzard posted a new screenshot for us today from The Burning Crusade. Have a peek…

So I had to do it… I uploaded some of my screenshots to the MyWarcraftSpace website and its super neat-o. They added a photo album feature now and it made my original FrontPage photo album efforts look like a baby learning to crawl. Check it out.

I stumbled across a new image hosting site thanks to the LM Forums. And the best part of all – no popup ads like imageshack has!! You can scale any image – including TGA files (WoW native screenshots) and host them for free. And once it catches on – no more of those super huge I don’t know how to scale my pictures posted in the forums! Ok I can dream can’t I?

I emailed the webmaster to see what other options they are going to include since it seems to be a fairly new site (ok well, I haven’t heard of it before at any rate) and found out they have quite a few ideas up their sleeves. Some of the planned features are the ability to create photo albums, different themed templates and you will also be able to upload a .zip file of images for quick hosting. How cool is that!
