Warlocks were mages that delved too deeply into the roots of demonic power. Consumed by a lust for dark knowledge, they’ve tapped into chaotic magic from beyond the world. The Burning Legion now feeds them its powers, allowing them to channel destructive energies and call upon the powerful emissaries of their demon masters.
The Warlock is a more involved class to play than most others. Warlocks have pets, many different spell combos, and a reagent component requirement for some of their spells. This means that playing a Warlock takes a bit more learning than some of the more straightforward classes. The Warlock has a lot of very cool and fun abilities including Eye of Kilrogg, Fear, Pets, and more. The Warlock is a very fun class to play once you figure things out.

A player was wondering about teleporting in The Burning Crusade. It was stated the Warrlock summons and hearthstones work the same as they do now, while the Mage can learn to teleport. With that, Nethaera from Blizzard, added…
Mages have a teleport available for Shattrath. Otherwise, it’s probably a good idea to set your hearthstone for Shattrath since there are portals there for every major city available for players to use.
Most people will probably set their hearthstone for Shattrath and then fly there to use the portal and hearth back from Azeroth. That’s what I have done before and it works extremely well.
Thanks

Vaneras from Blizzard wanted to give the heads up about DPS testing…
We are currently in the process of heavy DPS testing with all classes in a wide variety of combat types, situations, gear, and spec to ensure they fall in-line with what we expect of each class and where we want each class to be on the DPS scale. As we progress with the DPS testing there will be changes made that will help adjust classes to where we want them to be, and you may see improvements or nerfs that seem a bit odd. At the very least we want to express that we’re making these adjustments due to involved DPS tests and the changes being made are a direct result of our findings.
The expansion gives us an amazing opportunity to balance all of the classes in one big release, and we’re going to be refining each class until release to make sure we’re making good use of it.
Thanks

Worry not my tree hugging friends the Druid Class Morale in TBC will not be as low as you think. Eyonix lets us in on some info:
We want everyone to be happy with their class and feel as though they’ve made the right choice and have as many options for specialization as any other class. We don’t want anyone to feel as though they are at a disadvantage, due to talents, abilities, itemization or any other aspect which could possibly affect a given player’s strength. With that being said, we’ve been reading feedback extensively, from players of all classes and making changes based on our own testing, and that feedback. It should be noted, however, that the majority of changes from this point forward won’t be seen until after beta begins. Much of the feedback we’re seeing on our boards towards any element of the expansion is theory-crafted, and doesn’t take the entirety of all changes into consideration.
Continue to post your feedback, and both the community team and designers will continue to read through what’s constructively provided. Beyond that, just be patient — we’re dedicated to ensuring World of Warcraft provides the best possible gaming experience for everyone involved.

The new Talents/Skills Pages for each of the 6 available classes has been updated as of yesterday, to reflect the changes that have been made internally to the expansion. Don’t want to sift through it all and check to see what might have changed? Well Ætheria of Spirestone is doing us all a nice favor and compiling the changes players have found in this forum post. If you notice anything she might have missed, be sure to chime in and reply.
Sorry Druids, Hunters and Priests, it’s not quite your time yet. We’ll let you know when that changes!

Blizzard wanted to get out to us a little clarification regarding the Warlock’s Life Tap…
There were some questions about what is calculated first; bonus from Improved Life Tap, or +damage, so here you go: The effects from The Felheart and Plagueheart sets and from the Improved Life Tap talent are all applied AFTER spell damage has been calculated. No other talents or set bonuses have any effect on the calculation.
Another question was whether Life Tap is supposed to consume a charge from the Zandalarian Hero Charm: Life Tap benefits from and uses charges of the Zandalarian Hero Charm as well as the Talisman of Ascendance.
