Oh how I agree with this article. This is one of the reasons I have quit playing atm (the other being Anthony since he is becoming a moving terror). I eagerly awaited BC only for it to take forever. It gave me breathing room to step back from the game and realize there are other things that can fill my time just as well. I miss the game but more for the social interaction with all my friends than for the not-really-new content.
Ever since the release of World of Warcraft (WoW), Blizzard pretty much set the standard on what a major massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) should be like. A massive world, an unheard of amount of items and a game play style that makes things fun for just about every MMO player out there. Then on top of all the addictive elements, charge $15
