Blizzard is gearing up for this years Hallow’s End celebration. Check out the details…
Observed by both the Horde and the Alliance, Hallow’s End is the celebration of the break between the Forsaken and the Scourge. Adventurers can speak to innkeepers to get silly masks to wear during their adventures, and much more.
Learn more about this event, which runs from October 18 until November 1, on our Hallow’s End page.
Thundgot from EU Blizzard wanted to update those on the PCT issue they have been having, have a listen…
Some players have been experiencing issues trying to use the Paid Character Transfer service. When the PCT process is initiated by a player, their bank is notified and the payment amount is placed in ‘reserve’. This temporarily places the money outside of their bank account, looking like a payment has been made but in fact no transfer is completed until final validation is given.
On this occasion, a technical issue generated an error message which prevented players from completing the PCT process and validating the payment. On pinpointing the problem we turned off the PCT process and cancelled the payment requests.
Almost all payment requests have now been cancelled and the reservations are in the process of being released by the banks. We continue to work on this process and will provide further updates as soon as possible. Meanwhile the PCT service will remain closed until further notice.
We sincerely apologies for this situation.
Thanks

The guys from WoW Petopia posted a bit of new information from The Burning Crusade beta for everyone to go check out. Go check it out
1 Up editors have posted several videos they’ve encountered so far:
A handful of us are playing World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade well into the morning hours. We aren’t doing it because we’re hopelessly addicted to Blizzard’s MMO, but rather because we want to start showing people who haven’t got a chance to check out the Burning Crusade some of what to expect from the expansion.
Over the next few days, addicts posing as employees of Gamevideos will be busting out videos of a variety of stuff from the Outlands. For starters, here are videos of three bosses from Hellfire Ramparts, one of the first instances players will encounter post-level 60 in the Outlands.
For those of us looking forward to playing WoW today, the maintenance has been extended for ALL servers until 3:30 pm PST. Wonder what they are up to now….
You may or may not have been following the Naked Troll project, the blogg where one WoW player and his Troll has undertaken the mighty task of reaching level 60 with no armour, naked, no clothing, nothing! Except for his underpants of course.
In late June I was coerced into playing WoW again by my cousins. I decided I would play again because they all happened to be on one server and I had nothing better to do with my life. My reason for quitting last time was that I was bored with the game and questing had become very tedious. So something needed to be changed or else I would not be able to play the game for a long period of time. So I looked at the game for some time, trying to figure out a way to make this interesting to me again. Some kind of challenge that I could do to make the game difficult. My biggest complaint was that the game was too easy. So I really wanted to make the game hard so I could not get bored while playing.
After a hard slog character Juffowup has finally made it to the lofty heights of 60 which is an impressive achievement. Here’s the moment of truth
