MC Sunday Run

Finally made it into the MC run after a long wait of 380 in queue and my Dad’s 50th birthday party. It was touch and go if I was going to make it in for a bit since the raid was full but as soon as I logged into my alt someone lost connection and couldn’t get back in so I got to go after all.

Unforunately I didn’t take notes on anyone’s rolls or who won what so I have to rely soley on the Raid Tracker to give you the phat loot dropped. I CAN tell you I came in after the Baron kill, just in the time for Wendra to win the [item]Bindings of the Windseeker[/item] with a 48. (and that was the end of my record keeping. lol)

The [item]Fire Runed Grimoire[/item] was won by XAnthony, Wendra won the [item]Mageflame Cloak[/item] from Ragnaros on a /random 40 by the raid leader, Trubben won the [item]Azuresong Mageblade[/item] (I gave him the +30 spell power enchant today). Pandion won the [item]Giantstalker’s Epaulets[/item], [item]Choker of the Fire Lord[/item] went to Muridis on a /random 40 by the RL (Rags fight drop).

[item]Malister’s Defender[/item] went to Galvar as well as the [item]Girdle of Prophecy[/item], [item]Bracers of Might[/item] and [item]Giantstalker’s Bracers[/item] for trading. Farkhat won the [item]Felheart Robes[/item] and I won the [item]Netherwind Pants[/item] off of Ragnaros! WOOT. 2nd tier 2 piece. The [item]Nightslayer Shoulder Pads[/item] and the [item]Nightslayer boots[/item] both went to Deflickshew. There is something to say about default wins ;)

Chriara won the [item]Girdle of Prophecy[/item] and Carnilion won the [item]Seal of the Archmagus[/item]. Aveliana won the [item]Nemesis Leggings[/item] and Alyna won the [item]Cenarion Gloves[/item].

Congrats to everyone!

Blizzard Europe Celebrates 1-Year

Blizzard Europe celebrated their one year anniversary over the weekend. Check out what they had to share…

One year ago today, World of Warcraft launched in Europe. Since that date, we have passed many milestones, added several dungeons and lots of content. In honor of this occassion, Shane Dabiri, the lead producer for World of Warcraft, has written a letter to the European community. You can read his letter here.

Onyxia and BWL

We did our traditional Onyxia and BWL run last night. Onyxia was a piece of cake like usual and Razorgore has become fairly easy for us. Vael is still elluding our efforts to take him down while happily apologzing for killing us each and every time.

Onyxia loot:
[item]Onyxia hide backpack[/item] was won by Muridis with a 97, Moonwinna won the [item]Stormrage Cover[/item] with a 97, and Dworkinn won the [item]Sapphiron Drape[/item] with a 99. I finally won something - the [item]Netherwind Crown[/item] with a 44. WOOT! Thanks to those of you that passed cause you want to complete your tier 1 sets and everyone else. Babbaganoosh and Smokinjoe tied with a 95 for the [item]Head of Onyxia[/item] but Babba ultimately won with a 32. And Wendra walked off with the [item]Vis’kag the Bloodletter[/item] as an upgrade roll with a 76.

Razorgore dropped [item]The Black Book[/item] which went to our only demonology specced warlock, Ambianceforc; Gern won the [item]Judgement Bindings[/item] with a 84 and Kyjethu won the [item]Bloodfang Bracers[/item] with a 99.

We spent the rest of our time in BWL whiping and running back. Luckily Burthona called the raid a little early because all of us were getting tired, pissed and irritated over it. The first night we were in there we did great on our strategy, the thanks held aggro, etc. But now we suck. And of course every time a tank has issues doing their job they blame the whiping on needing more DPS. Well….if you can’t hold your aggro and Vael turns and fire breaths half of your DPSers WTF do you want us to do. Do your job and we will do ours. /rant

New ATI Catalyst Drivers

ATI has released new Catalyst drivers (v6.2) which you can pick up from the ATI site. Maybe this will improve some of the issues WoW players are currently experiencing.

Is Bliz Stealth Nurfing?

Looks like there were a few changes that came with last week’s patch that didn’t make the release notes…

Apparently WarCry Network knows something we don’t. They have compiled a list of the unpublished changes, of which there are more than a few. So, head on over & see which pieces of gear are absulutely useless to you now…

Interestingly enough I haven’t played Funktea since the patch and was noticing that fully buffed I was down about 2k mana, which is what saves my butt when I’m in trouble (nothing like that mana shield). After reading the list they specifically state the Arcanist gear was changed.

Is this another way for Bliz to justify their tier 2 crappiness by nurfing my tier 1 gear?

According to another website I frequent here are some other undocumented changes included in 1.9.3..

# Nefarian’s reset should now consistently be 15 minutes regardless of what phase your raid may have wiped out on.
# The High Priests, High Priestesses, and Jin’do the Hexxer will now drop their epic items more often. Some of the rarest items from Zul’Gurub such as the Warblade of the Hakkari and Zulian Swift Tiger can now also be found a bit more frequently.
# Zul’Gurub coin and bijou drops were increased
# The stats on the Tier 1 Mage and Warlock sets (Arcanist and Felheart) have been changed.
# You now have to be out of combat to open a chest.
