Some Highlights
Soul Shard Bags
Tailors now can make soul bags to hold soul shards. The smallest is a 20-slot bag, the recipe for which can be purchased in Gadgetzan. The recipe for a larger bag can be found in Scholomance, and one for an even larger bag can be found in Molten Core. In the main UI, these soul bags will display how many shards they contain. So long as the soul bags have room, any soul shards a warlock creates will automatically go into the bag. Babbaganoosh is Happy!! Now Funktea just needs to get those patterns.

- Judgements - Judgements that place a debuff on their victim will now all have their duration refreshed when the judging paladin strikes the victim with his or her melee swings. All these debuffs have had
their duration decreased to 10 seconds. In addition, Judgements that place debuffs can no longer be resisted.

- Holy Shock - Now heals friendly targets and damages enemy targets. Mana cost reduced. Bonus from spell damage and healing items increased.

- Divine Protection, Divine Shield and Blessing of Protection - Targets of these spells will now receive the “Recently Shielded” effect, preventing another of these three spells from being applied to that
target for one minute.

- New Spell: Righteous Fury (level 16) - Increases the threat generated by the Paladin’s Holy attacks by 100%. Lasts 30 minutes.

- Mind Blast - Threat raised on ranks 7, 8, and 9. Incorrect data had been entered in those spells, resulting in less threat generated than designed.

- Curse of Shadow and Curse of the Elements - These curses can no longer cause resistance to become negative. To compensate, both curses now increases the damage taken from the appropriate schools by
a percentage.

Stoneform
+ No longer snares the user.
+ Armor bonus increased.
+ Duration lowered.

- All of the Tier 2 Class Armor sets have been updated with new art.

Went on our weekly Onyxia run on Monday night. We were out some of our “normal” crew because of holidays and whatnot. It took us like 4 or 5 trys before we finally took her down. I was popping those pots from Mascara before each fight and I think they actually helped. It’s funny to think that regen 2 health every couple of seconds and adding 27 health actually helps. But ya know when you are in the party that AOEs the whelps, anything works. Especially when your priest is in the front of the cave and not tossing you heals. The last fight I used a scroll that increased my armor by 150. Man did that help. I’ve now started browsing the AH to see what I can find. Really though you don’t care about my crazy tactics, do you? Ok well some the mages out there might. I had 128 fire resist on (did put on the Onyxia amulet this time) and used those pots.

The first attempt Dworkinn (the other mage in my party AOEin) went down quicker than a card building. The next couple of times we lasted a little longer - but again those damn whelps took us down. I really wish healers would pay attention to you when you AOE. We annouce the whelps over vent and which side they come out, move your little squishee butt down to where they are and toss me a heal. Really. It helps the rest of the raid not wipe.

Anywho…..we killed her. Hoping to move Onyxia to farm status pretty soon. Then onto Blackwing Lair. WOOT!

Devliena won the [item]Nemesis Skullcap[/item] with a roll of 94. And Ahvil won his [item]Judgement Crown[/item] with a 76. Damn Kyjethu (he’s really on a winning streak) won the [item]Onyxia Hide Backpack[/item] with a 98. And Asterioidea won the [item]Eskhandar’s Collar[/item] with a 91. Congrats everyone!

Well after finishing off Shazzrah on Thursday we moved onto killing off Golemagg, Sulfuron and Ragnaros. The raid filled up quickly (even for a Sunday night) and we started the run early! Go us!

Loot was dropping left and right last night, which is cool. Every little bit helps ;)

The [item]Vambraces of Prophecy[/item] dropped off the first flameguard mob we pulled and went to Chriara. Shortly after that the Druid Belt dropped from a molten destroyer and Alyna won with a 97. Her first set peice I might add. From the same mob group that dropped the belt, the molten giant dropped the Blood of the Mountain which went to the house for warrior fire resist set pieces.

Golemagg dropped the [item]Breastplate of Might[/item] which Static won with a 97. High rolllers tonite! And Hexperiment won the [item]Arcanist Robe[/item] with a 62. Damn him, I rolled a 26; the only way I’ll ever win that is by default. And Mez won the Aged Core Leather Gloves.

Sulfuron is still kinda a hard boss for us. Some nights we work like clockwork and then others we cluster f**k our way through it. Clustering was the name of the game last night. We pulled through though! Delara won the Mantle of Prophecy. Our priests can quit complaining about their set peices not dropping. Hexperiment walked away with the Sorcerous Dagger with a 12. (It was his night last night) Most of us are holding our for the Staff of Dominance I think. Well, at least I am.

Two wipes later we killed Majordomo. (Note to others: have a healer on your mages otherwise the mages die, the healers they are sheeping pop and the raid gets screwed. Also have all of your mages stand in on area with their little sheep farm. That way if any shields proc they won’t pop our little sheep population.) Yes we know all that stuff and we patently ignored our own advice until the third try. And yes, it worked and we did it with ease. Everyone brought their “A game” to that try ;) Congrats to Lorick who finally won the Eye of Divinity with a 53. Hopefully you can get it done on the first try like Tasmpriest did. (See the Walkthroughs section for the writeup). The Corehound tooth with to /random because the rogues that were there already had their MC weapon. Punks. Kyjethu won with 100. And Alyna walked off with the Wild Growth Shoulders.

Burthona D/Ced after that, so we called the raid and put Rags off for another day.

1.9 Info is Out

http://worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/
I like the new pally armor but am wondering why they are wearing a robe. I know they are supposed to be a cross between priests and warriors but I thought they would have the kept the warrior look like they have with the past sets. And why do they look so evil now?

The druid pieces are money, except I’ll have moose antlers. Of course by the time I ever reach that level with Bellisimo it will probably be changed again anyway.

OOO I can’t wait to get those set pieces for Funktea though. I have almost all of my arcanist set pieces (still need the head and chest), so it’s about time to move on LOL.

Bellisimo

Bellisimo hit level 25 last night! Woot. After running the trash mob run through MC with Funktea I busted Bellisimo out and played for awhile with Babba (Babbaganoosh’s alt - lvl 24 priest). I’ve discovered I suck at tanking in bear form. I can’t seem to get the right camera angle. At one point last night I lost major aggro and the mobs took off after Babba - my reason? I couldn’t see past my big bear butt. LOL

Finished up a couple of quests in Redridge Mountains and headed off to kill some skeletons and spiders in Darkshire. That place really used to creep me out but now I just run around like an idiot pulling mobs. It’s kinda like the fun of being a warrior with the healing powers of a priest. Not bad these druids….. When Funktea ran quests in Darkshire I died more times than I could count. Squishee for the win.

Raid Funny

http://orangehammer.ytmnsfw.com/

Anyone ever had a raid like this? And no, it’s not the SnT alliance, although we do sound like that a lot.

WoW Screenshots

Be sure to check out the screenshots link to the right under Blogging! It’s no where near all of them, but it’s a small sampling of mine and Babbaganoosh’s adventures, guild shots, etc.

I never really thought about it until I put it together, but it’s like a RL photo album. I mean you watch your in-game self grow-up and experience new things. I was telling Babba the other day, after looking through them, that I never realized that my current outfits made me look so bad ass until I looked at the newb level 60 pics of me. I looked like an infant learning to crawl.

Anyway the shots were good for some laughs and guildie teasing.

Alts

So I have two alts on the alliance side on the Blackhand server (and a few others scattered about the WoW worlds when our server used to go down 24/7) and then one on the horde side in the Bizzaro Lobster Magnet guild. Why does everyone have to join our server anyway? (Come on Blizz..don’t report it as having medium population…we both know it’s a lie.)

Mascara is a level 13 priest, herb/alch and is more of a bank than anything. I liked playing her for awhile, but I think the best part about her is her appearance. When I made Funktea I didn’t really know what I was doing so I didn’t customize her the way I wanted to. I liked playing a priest up until level 10 and now I think it kinda sux. I’m reserving her as my bank and my pot pusher. I guess it’s because she is human too, but I keep wanting to blink and freeze and everything that good ol’ Funk can do.

Bellisimo (curse you Candree for getting Bellisima first) is a level 24 druid, skinner/leatherworker. She is more fun because I can tank with her and heal myself. Changing forms is cool and saves your butt a lot, especially now that I FINALLY got the sea lion form. WOW that took me forever. I mean really, I just got it. Only 8 levels above what the quest was actually rated at. I marked the coordinates on the map for this, so I’ll grab them next time I’m in game and post them here. No sense in others having to go through that.
